Vintage Japanese Cultured Akoya Pearl Silver Floral Pin

Authentic silver Japanese cultured pearl floral pin. This beautiful and tailored pin features five super lustrous, super clean cultured Akoya pearls. These spherical pearls range from 6.1 to 6.5mm. in size and have lovely pinkish hues. Very nicely matched. Two lightly textured opposing leaves frame these pearls and form the top and bottom of the pin. A single tendril of silver gently curves around two of the pearls. This pin measures one and 3/8 inch from side to side by one and 1/8 inch from top to bottom. Stamped on the back of the pin is the letter "S" indicating silver in fineness. The pin stem and catch is snug and tight fitting. This pin has not been cleaned or polished. Overall excellent estate condition-very pristine for a mid century pin. Weighs 8.1 grams. This classic pin is a very nice example of the quality and craftsmanship from the 1950's to 1960's. This pearl pin is not too large or busy (unlike some of its peers) and would make a wonderful gift or self purchase. Goes with everything and will look great when worn. Will soon become a wardrobe favorite.
