Vintage Handmade Knit Coin Pouch Traditional Balkan Folk Knitting

Description

In this lot we present a vintage handmade knit pouch from the Balkan region, early to mid. 20-th Century.
The pouch is decorated with traditional folklore knit motifs and stylized parrot images.
The pouch is missing it`s string, which can be easily replaced with either a cord or chain string that goes through the openings
of the top lace strip.
The knitting work is excellent and very precise. The pouch has minor wearing, no holes, no tears.
