100% “new wool” felt traditional Austrian jacket. This “Lodenjacke” is made to be worn with a dirndl, which is a traditional Austrian/Bavarian shepherdess dress. Jacket is made by Idomeneo, one of the top dirndl and lederhosen manufacturers in Vienna, Austria. The jacket is red wool felt with green wool felt trim. The trim has been professionally restored by wool felting specialists in the US, after some minor damage from bugs. See close-up photos for item’s current condition.
No size marked, but jacket is girls’ size medium, or approximately US girls’ 12 or European size 38. Embossed decorative buttons are removable, and two extra buttons are sewn into the inside side seam. Two fully functional pockets at the front. Turned back cuffs. Hanger loop. Almost never worn. Like-new condition. Smoke-free home, no dogs or cats.
