    Description

    Very well reserved hand embroidered lamb fur leather jacket from transsylvania, region: Gyimes. Circa 1940's. This is a traditional folk costume of a hungarian minority, the so called tchango (csángó) people. Recent piece was purchased in Gyimes 1985, very well protected from a collection of a professional ethnographer and folk dancer. Museum quality item.
    One button hook is replaced with cotton, one leather button is missing, authentic patch, small disruption. See photos about these issues
